Meet Dr. Chen
Dr. Stephen Chen is a proud valedictorian graduate from the University of Texas School of Dentistry. Following his schooling, he then furthered his education by receiving his certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics as well as his Masters of Science in Dentistry. During his residency, Dr. Chen served as the chief resident the entire time. He was also honored by the American Board of Orthodontics as one of the youngest orthodontists to receive the highest certification in orthodontics. Dr. Chen remains clinical assistant professor in orthodontics at the University of Texas School of Dentistry.
It is Dr. Chen’s belief that your smile is the most potent weapon one possesses. He defines your smile as your calling card. “A person’s smile has the strength to forge bonds, break ice, and calm storms. I want our patients to use their smile constantly. I believe the power of who you are is displayed when you smile.”
Over the course of his career, Dr. Chen has become very involved in professional Orthodontic and Dental organizations. He is currently a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Texas Orthodontic Association, the Southwest Society of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Greater Houston Dental Society and the Texas Dental Association.
During Dr. Chen’s downtime he enjoys spending time with his wife and family, playing golf, hunting and fishing.
